Geneva has LGBTQIA+ communities across a growing range of sports. The Guardians created this directory to make the whole local ecosystem easier to discover.

Rugby is one part of a wider queer-sport community. We are proud to grow alongside the clubs, teams and groups listed here.

Badminton

Waiting list

Geneva Bad'Ass

An LGBTQIA+ badminton association offering regular play, competition opportunities and a social community, with initiatives to improve FLINTA representation.

Joining
2026–27 registrations are closed; a waiting list is open and places may become available in autumn.
Good to know
Solidarity support can reduce or remove cost barriers. FLINTA applicants can contact the club about year-round access.

Gay Outdoor / LGBTIQ+ Randonnées

Volunteer-led LGBTQIA+ group hikes around Geneva, Vaud, the Jura and nearby Alpine areas, organised with and for Dialogai.

An LGBTQIA+ running group for complete beginners through to experienced runners, with races, occasional extra runs and social activities.

Switzerland’s first LGBTQIA+ rugby club, founded in Geneva in February 2026. Complete beginners can explore touch rugby and progress towards contact only if they choose.
